IT Power is giving stakeholders in Renewable Electricity the chance to shape the future market. IT Power is the UK partner in the European project "GreenNet - Incentives", supported by the EC. One main element of the project is to identify existing non-technical barriers for Renewable Energy System Electricity (RES-E) grid integration. This is currently undertaken by the active involvement of key market actors (grid companies, RES-E generating companies, regulating bodies, decision makers). IT Power is in charge of carrying out interviews and providing questionnaires to important stakeholders. The major outcomes of this project will comprise tailor-made recommendations and actions plans in order to make the RES-E integration attractive for all parties involved. The final goal is to establish a common European vision on the implementation of grid-related policies enabling member countries to meet their 2020 commitments.
